Maarten Spruyt has been a curator since the nineties. He has worked with the biggest museums in the Netherlands, including Boijmans van Beuningen, the Gemeentemuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. He visited my gallery in de Ceuvel and asked me to be on the spare list for his exibition 'Through Bone and Marrow', a multidisciplinary group exhibition with work by 18 artists from the Netherlands and abroad. In February it will be known whether I could participate in this special project.
Brutus is an initiative of AVL Mundo, the not-for-profit organisation founded in 2008 by artist Joep van Lieshout to offer artists a unique opportunity to develop and exhibit projects without traditional boundaries
